PSK Sounder

PSK sounder is free software (for personal use) that makes use of the pseudoradom digital stream in the Stanag signal format to monitor the delay in propagation of multipath radio signals. It uses a technique called cross-correlation to achieve this. The PSK sounder window below shows the propagation delays in the correlogram window with delay on the vertical scale. The dark bands in the diagram represent ionized layers that are supporting the propagation. Each layer has a different delay.

VE6OG Ham Station - the main transceiver is the Kenwood TS940S

This is the Hallicrafter's Super Skyrider.  This was probably the best receiver that they manufactured.  It is their model

SX-28A.  This particular receiver was maunufactured about 1944.  I obtained it from Rich (VE6AX) who said the

original owner was  a white caner from the Okanagan Valley in BC.

SX-111 Ham Band Receiver

This is part of my antique collection which includes several Hallicrafter receivers.  A lady ham operated this

receiver for many years from Southern Alberta.

S-118 General Coverage Receiver

This receiver is part of my collection and would have been built in the early 1960s.

I obtained this Anniversary clock at a garage sale and have been able to clean it up very well but still looking for one part to make

it funtional. The manufacturer is August Schatz & Sohne who built the clock in 1909.  They were located in Triburg, Schwartzwald in

Southern Germany.
